Happens in both 8.1 and 9.0 DirectX modes, regardless if directx9 is installed with winetricks.
Also, the "freezecam shot" (when you die) is a black screen for me as well.

Do you see other spy's black as well? This is most likely not a regression, as I have had all these problems (death cam being black, cloak black and other cloaked spys as black) for a very long time; since atleast wine 1.1.19. The other difference is that water for me isn't black any more (but it used to be).
I haven't played any other steam games, so I can't offer a comparision there.
Since this has been my case for as long as I can remember, I unfortunately have no idea what has caused it or how to fix it :\ Up until this post, I didn't think the problem was specific to me and that most people rendered other spy's and such like this.

How do you fix this problem? I made the mistake of using 1.1.26 and now TF2 is stuck with a black screen, I can see the menu but the rest is just plain black.
