RE: Binaries vs Source
by Collin on Saturday April 2nd 2011, 13:12
Just discovered something, if you compile a source of Wine, you HAVE to disable the gameoverlayrenderer.dll in order to play games, but if you use a binary, gameoverlayrenderer doesn't need to be disabled. In my case, I NEED a source of wine in order to patch a patch for Monday Night Combat so that the mouse won't leave the window.
This, to me at least, is a major inconvenience and I would like to contribute as to how to fix this bug (gameoverlayrenderer.dll). Is there an IRC or specific email to teach me how to locate and fix bugs?
