Hello, I got the same problem. After running the game i click on a building and instead of a smooth animation the game hangs.. Sound is still playing in the background but i can't move the coursor or do anything.
I tried Wine 1.1.2, Wine 0.9.60 and Wine 0.9.52 without any effect. There's no additional output in the console...
When the game starts i see this:
fixme:x11drv:X11DRV_desktop_SetCurrentMode Cannot change screen BPP from 32 to 16
Oh I do have pulseaudio and I am running Ubuntu 8.04.
