Yes - health bar is visible in cutscenes. Game used to crash pre-0.9.9 with escape but with 0.9.9 (& 10) it works great. Like mentioned before it doesn't show the static images, but I can live with that. Also sometimes i think the red fade when you get hit shouldn't be solid, but I can't confirm that without installing it on windows.
I played all the way to the mansion without it crashing yet.
