Nexon and Mabinogi site are not required whatsoever to launch Mabinogi.
Inside the Mabinogi installion directory there is an exe file called "Mabinogi.exe". Launching that loads you directly into the patcher. From there clicking on "Game Start" loads the "client.exe" in which we get a crash.
I do not believe GameGuard / HackShield is causing the issues since they load after the client loads, and wine can't pull us pass the loading of the client... at least not yet.
