1) On windows 95 Starcraft runs on 90Mhz PC lightning fast.
So on wine it needs only ~11 times more CPU power: not very bad.
As I said virtual machine is better...we can add now...then you do not have 1.2ghz or more.
And another question is are you using fastest game mode in options? Default is normal, but it is not used in online games. Maybe even 11 times more than normal CPU power is not enough for standart online mode of play.
