To fix the fullscreen issue: I'm running Wine in Ubuntu 10.04. For me, in the GUI I went to System > Preferences > Appearance > Visual Effects and selected "None". I can now run Diablo II normally in fullscreen mode as opposed to windowed. To fix the sound issue: In the Wine configuration, under the Audio tab, under DirectSound, change Hardware Acceleration to "Emulation" instead of "Full". Hope this helps you guys!
