I tried using patched 1.1.31 from playonlinux, and it didn't work. I had some sound problems with the launcher ( wouldn't start because it didn't find the sound device ), and starting a new game crashed wine. The problems were probably because playonlinux requires wine from the ubuntu repository installed, and tries using another wine at the same time.
