I felt that all the silver ratings where very pesimistic. Setting +mat_hdr_level 0 doesn't take much effort and doesn't really change the game much. I played for a full half hour on multiplayer and it was perfectly playable, My FPS was perfectly stable and never fell below 25. As much as it's not perfect (Platinum), it's perfectly playable, and i felt that warrented gold.
