yeah, i kinda figured that out right after i posted about it, what i haven't figured out is why it still worked fine once i changed it back to "full". also, i had it set to alsa the whole time.
rgb patch no worky on 1.1.30, btw. without it performance doesn't seem any different from older un-patched versions.
