I don't think it's garbage. "Garbage" is for app not running, even after winetricks.
But I agree CS:S is far from Platinum.
Also please don't troll, I'm fade up with those "test update" from people writing CS:S isn't working at all. It is false and misleading for the newbie looking for a fix to an issue. It should be mentioned that it can run with some tricks. Please use forums for your personal problems.
