RE: DFA did not initialize properly. by LBM on Tuesday September 20th 2011, 9:21 Some thing's you may wanna try: 1) Upgrade your Wine version 2) Do a clean install of the game and patch 3) Make sure Windows version is set to Vista or 7 4) Try another version of XLiveLess Just installed the game and patched it to ver. 1.0.7.0 yesterday and I have no problems starting it with Wine ver. 1.3.28, Winver set to 7 and the xlive.dll linked to on this page.
