Try this: Download the 1.22a Warcraft 3 patch from Blizzard here: us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=21220 Copy the .exe file to the folder where you installed warcraft and then run it from there. (i.e. cd /home/username/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Warcraft 3 wine war3TFT_122a.exe) This will update Warcraft to the latest version, which no longer needs you to have the cd at all.
