I don't know if I did something wrong but when I tried to patch the source of wine 1.1.22 or 1.1.23, there was the same error
$ patch -p1 < ./patch.diff
patching file dlls/user32/input.c
Hunk #1 FAILED at 366.
1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file dlls/user32/input.c.rej
patching file dlls/user32/user32.spec
patching file dlls/winex11.drv/keyboard.c
patching file dlls/winex11.drv/x11drv.h
Hunk #1 succeeded at 779 (offset -1 lines).

One of the Phenomic guys has offered to help with this issue.
You can find the Post in the official forums:
forums.battleforge.com/forum/showpost.php?p=109676&postcount=8
It's in the German formus, the translation is:
'There's no official support for Linux/wine.
If a wine developer is willing to solve the keyboard issue (and improve the compatibility with Windows) he is welcome to contact me for technical details.'

Either I made a mistake patching or the patch does not work for 1.1.26 :(
Any clues how to test this?

Cheers,
Chris
