To make mouse not leave window try this:
in HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Wine\DirectInput create (if it doesn't exist) a string value "MouseWarpOverride" (without quotes) and set it to "force". This does work for me. Note: this may break some other games, and you will not be able to navigate in menu with mouse (use keyboard for this).
