This doesn't appear to be a wine only issue. I followed some of the things suggested in the aionsource forums, but the only thing that worked was to run the NCSoft launcher in windows and do a repair. However from reading the forums there doesn't seem to be a single cause for this glitch. Have a look at www.aionsource.com/forum/technical-support/80873-no-chat-channels-after-patch.html
