you can always install it on a separate windows partition, and copy the files over. As far as nc launcher goes, i didnt get the whole thing to work, you must pass some command line arguments to it to get anything installed. i dont remember what what they are but you can probably google it.
I think this is what launches the patcher...
wine "C:\Program Files\NCsoft\Launcher\NCLauncher.exe" /LaunchGame=Aion
So yes the launcher did not work for me completely but the patcher did.
In the end the post up above from me is my latest tests. It runs perfect as long as you do not group with anyone. But if you group you cant play anymore. So i dont know if its even worth it to play aion on linux, unless someone can figure out how to fix this.
