Ok, you got newest Wine & PoL installed aswell? Did you patch the game afterwards? Not sure if that last questuon is essential though... My side of it in short, the only thing I did after installation was "autopatch" sims3 through PoL. Then applied the crack (always backup original files before). No winetricks or anything (asside from that PoL is sorta same same thing).
