Outwars is a third person shooter with a twist.  Choose from four different jetpack equipped armored suits and load up a variety of weapons to push back the deadly alien invaders, the Skulls.

This game came out in 1998 and as such has pretty dated graphics.  The single player is fun but tends to be frustrating.  Online multiplayer is where it counts. If you can ignore the game's few glitches and get it to work with your router, it plays like no other shooter.  It is similar in ways to Starsiege: Tribes, but differs vastly once you master the jetpack.  You can dispense mines and actually 'throw' them by using jetpack thrust.  Guided missile battles on the Anubis level with up to eight players can be one crazy firefight.
