Ever played Masters of Magic? Well, use something like Civ 5's engine, cool graphics and lots of content, and you are close to Warlock. :)
The game is a turn-based strategy game, where units gain xp and get new abilities, while you manage your cities in order to conquer the world of Ardania (where you play the Majesty saga).
You can zoom in and out, research magic spells acording to your tastes, complete quests, fight fearfull monsters, raze enemy cities... there are lots of things to do, and all were fun to me. :)
It's a demo, so little to no options about the only mission you get to play (which isn't even in a randomized map). You get about 60 turns of gameplay, and that's it. The quests inside the map are random, and most of the mobs in there are also random (in one go, I faced vampires, in other, I got elven druids). The game seems entertaining enough as to make me pay the preorder. :)
