Netgear's Windows Powerline Utility (formerly named after each product version) allows the end user to set the security parameters of Netgear's Homeplug products.

The protocol used is unknown but is not TCP/IP and hence there are no IP addresses. It is likely RAW sockets are needed to work correctly.
