WinScribe created a digital dictation/transcription software for use in the medical, legal, professional field.
WinScribe server is installed on a Windows server, while the transcriptionist runs the program "Internet Typist"(IT) and the dictators run the program "Internet Author"(IA).
IA records via attached mic to the PC and when completed, sends the job as a *.wav file to the server. IT users are then able to see a job via their application (IT) and able to pull it down and listen to the dictation for typing.
I am interested in getting the WinScribe programs "Internet Author" and "Internet Typist" ported over to run my clients on Linux.
