"ABBYY ScanTo Office" is an easy-to-use OCR application.
The application converts a (scanned) image to text (a .doc or .rtf file), that's all.
It is not possible to select an area, to change the ocr process or learn new characters.
The program is not expensive but it is accurate in converting to text.
