xm3smps is a program created by nineko that converts songs from the XM (eXtended Module) format to the SMPS (Sample Music Playback System) format. It is programmed using VB6 and runs under Microsoft Windows and obsoletes its previous MS-DOS incarnation, xm2smps.

The addition of a new GUI and some new features make it much better and much more usable than its predecessor. However, despite its colorful look, it's actually xm2smps in a wig, since the main conversion code is exactly the same.
