Throne of Darkness (ToD) is a game which is similar to a Diablo style game, although it is mage using the Arcanum engine. ToD takes place in feudal Japan, and 4/5 clans (One is evil) take part in the story. Unlike Diablo, ToD allows you to have a choice of up to 7 characters, also allows you to control up to 4 characters at once at any given time. The game play differs slightly because of the extra characters, such as battle tactics, how weapons are acquired etc... Also within multiplayer if one Clan defeats the Evil Clan they themselves become the Evil Clan and thus have to try an kill other players, which is a neat kind of twist. Overall it is a fun game/Alternative from the Diablo Storyline.
