Additional Comments

I installed the game with wine 1.1.25 with all addons without problems. I like to play skirmish, so the only addon for me to start is the newest (age3y.exe)*.

After copying the no-cd-Patch I tried to start with wine 1.1.25, but it crashed right after the slash-screen. I tried the current wine-hacks, but the same here.
Looking at the other Tests, it seems to run with wine 1.1.0, so I tried: The game runs now.
But not only with wine 1.1.0, after executing it the first time with 1.1.0 it runs also with wine 1.1.25 and with wine-hacks.

Maybe someone can test, if it's the same on other systems.

Want to play skirmish with WarChiefs and AsianDynasties at the same time!?

* Start regedit, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft Games\Age of Empires 3 Expansion Pack\1.0, create an empty String-Value with the name PID, create an empty Binary-Value with the name DigitalProductID, thats it.

It is not necessary to delete the file, all you need to do is open it in a browser and then save it so that it replaces the previous NewProfile3.xml
