This version of Minitab now can be found only in Japanese. The retail version and the trial version work perfectly but they require DCOM98.
How to install:
You should download DCOM98 (Link), set windows version in wine configuration to "Windows 98" then run DCOM98.exe.
Now you can install Minitab. Choose "restart later" and reboot linux.

The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.

Installs works but you should choose "restart later" because wine has some problems in rebooting.
The program starts without problems
Control charts and graphs are perfect
Statistical tests work well.
What does not
When you minimize a window it's difficult to open it again because the icons on the bottom left are overlaid. To solve this minor problem using the "window" menu of Minitab
Minitab "options" (in the "tools" menu) are difficult to set because the check boxes are not shown. However Minitab options are rarely used so this is not a problem.
Sometimes there are runtime errors which do not affect the program execution

Wine's progress:
Nothing changed upgrading Wine from 0.9.54 to 0.9.55
If you want to use 3D scatter plots you should click on tools/options/graphics/other graphic options.
Then click at the left of "use GDI for 3D graphs": check boxes are not shown but if you click on the right position the option will be activated.
HOWTO
Sometimes 3D graphs' windows will not close or minimize. If you want to
minimize them go to window/minimize all; then you can restore only the
worksheet and session window. If you want to forcibily close a 3D graph
go to window/clos all graphs. This however will close every graph in
Minitab.
