The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
Installation, running, config editor, graphics options, pretty much everything in game
What does not
Intro movie, sound options a little quirky - occasionally there is no sound all together, uninstaller, starting the game with CD in drive (presumably intro movie crashes it)
What was not tested
Campaign/'Undercover mode', cheat mode, high graphics settings
Additional Comments
DirectX 9.0c installed as per instructions at http://wine-review.blogspot.com/2007/11/directx-90c-on-linux-with-wine.html
ALSA sound drivers used. Poor end graphics card meant frame rate even with frame-rate limiter set to 10 at lowest resolution and graphic detail options the game was still very slow. But that is more likely to be a problem with my hardware rather than with Wine.
Driver not Driv3r
by Eli Coten on Sunday February 10th 2008, 12:34
This is not the same game as Driv3r. Driv3r is the 3rd edition of this game - this is the predeccesor/forerunner to this game and is always spelled Driver.
