What works
Installing, all menus and dialog scenes display properly. Backgrounds in the different "stages" look good as well.

What does not
All of the 3D girls still have messed up graphics. It's not as bad as in previous versions of wine, but it still kills the mood.

What was not tested
None.

I tried the above solution, the link to the dll file is not good.

I wonder if Case Sensitivity isn't an issue somewhere.

www.debianadmin.com/how-to-play-sexy-beach-3-on-debian-linux.html
says

1. Set Windows XP mode in winecfg
2. Install DirectX 9, Windows Scripting Host 5, Common Controls 5
3. Install www.zerodev.net/d3dx9_24.dll

and the game works. Not sure if that recipe is minimal, but
figured it's worth mentioning.
