What works
Installation. Game Starts.

What does not

Gameplay. All models/terrain are/is just either white or black, it worked just fine in 0.9.36.

(However a no CD crack is recommended as for some strange reason you cannot skip the render sequences which run *extremely* slow, the no CD crack "fixes" that.)

What was not tested
Multiplayer

Demo works perfectly, full version crashes at blue loading bar
by Adam Pajor on Thursday May 12th 2011, 5:54
Hi!

I have serious problem with the game. I installed the demo first, and I was happy, it worked perfectly. No graphical glitches, no lagging, worked like on my old P1 computer with Voodoo 2 videocard.

I didn't know what to expect, I didn't check WineHQ before launching the game.

I have a copy of the full game. Well I installed it, installation was OK, try to run the game, no CD was mounted, it crashed. I mounted the ISO, then, run again. Blue loading bar loaded, then crashes. No idea, what to do, tested different wine setting, I tried both 1.2, and latest 1.3. Same result. I have no-cd patch, I have no idea, how to use it, they are two .com files.

Any idea?

Overall game playability
by Plamen Hristov on Friday November 28th 2008, 7:19
Although the game run well, there is several nasty bugs, which brake good game experience.

- keyboard and controller preferences
- skipping cut scene
- network IPX error
- duplicated cursors
- sound in cut scene

So, go in Bugzilla and vote for them. There is chance for improvment :)

By the way, game installs and run with 1.1.9 version of wine. At least for me. If there is problem, recreate .wine directory and use virtual desktop.

What settings did you use to get this to play properly? It installed OK but just crashes when I click Play from the opening menu.
