This is the demo version. It only includes six teams and allows you to play a half-time match with limited settings.

What works
Installation and game itself works, meeting following conditions:
You
have to set no audio and "Emulate virtual desktop" in Wine settings,
and 640x480 resolution in game settings. Otherwise, the game would not
run.
Besides that, works perfectly, you can set graphics settings from Low to High. Playing with a gamepad also works.
What does not
Installation hangs at the end.
Audio
does not work, as the game hangs when is activated in wine settings.
The game also hangs when using resolutions higher than 640x480. Also
it's not possible to play in fullscreen, since 640x480 is not available
when fullscreen is selected in game settings.
There is a very little slowdown, but the game is perfectly playable.
What was not tested
Nothing.
Additional Comments
Same exact behavior has been reported with the following games:
- Pro Evolution Soccer 4
- Pro Evolution Soccer 5
- Pro Evolution Soccer 6
- Winning Eleven 9
Winning Eleven 8 is the american version of Pro Evolution Soccer 4. Same goes with WE9/PES5 and WE2007/PES6. They all run with the same "engine" (as they are all ports from PS2), and have the same trouble in Wine. I STRONGLY believe that once one of these games runs well, the others will do it at the same time.
Test system: Athlon X2 6000+, 2 Gb RAM, GeForce 8800 GS.
