DPOT directory needs to be writeable
by Brian Raiter on Wednesday September 1st 2010, 18:09
On my installation, all the directories were created on my hard drive with 555 permissions, presumably due to being copied from a read-only medium (CD-ROM). This caused an error message box to pop up when I attempted to view the saved-games screen, of the form:

String expected
(member 15 of castLib 1)
Skriptfehler. Weiter?

If this happens to you, you need to find the DPOT directory under Rhem3 and make it writeable:

chmod u+w Rhem3/DATA/DPOT
