What works
Works well - couldn't detect any problems. At first I didn't think it was running because it starts and then minimises. Once I maximise it works perfectly. I'm using version 1.1 with a No-CD patch, as I thought it might be necessary, but don't know if the No-CD patch really is necessary or not.

What does not
Nothing.

What was not tested
Running from CD without No-CD patch.

Additional Comments

I didn't install any Direct-X stuff so that I could test it with Wine's built in Direct-X functions. I did install Windows Media player 9 using Wine-tricks and all codecs using wine-tricks, because the installer complained about codecs right near the end. Don't know if installing WMP and these codecs really made a difference.

WMP related question

I have successfully installed CMR3 to my PC and it also complained about WMP and codecs. I had earlier installed WMP9 and codecs, but still got the error.

You said that you couldn't detect any problems, so I assume that the background videos are working correctly for you in the main menu and at the "Press Start"-screen? How did you get them working? I have only white or gray background there. I installed WMP and codecs with the following line:

sh winetricks wmp9 allcodecs

Thanks beforehand for info!
