Multiplayer via Directplay
Mentioned in a comment by zsolty_szasz:

Multiplayer can work, but requires some setup first.

The problem is with the current DirectPlay implementation. Read here how to set it up: http://wiki.winehq.org/DirectPlayGames

To get multiplayer working for games that use a DirectPlay version prior to 8, place the following DLLs:
dplayx.dll, dpnet.dll, dpnhpast.dll and dpwsockx.dll in this archive in WINE's windows/system32 directory, then add DLL overrides (native, builtin) with WINECFG.

HOWTO
In case of any problems be sure to see the instructions on http://wiki.winehq.org/Infinity_Engine_Games

Degreenifier mod DOES work
by bob on Tuesday February 8th 2011, 5:16
One of these reviews claims the degreenifier mod won't work with wine. That is untrue. I got it to work by running EasyTutuDegreenifier-v4.exe in my BaldursGateTutu directory. That will do some stuff and eventually have to be killed when it starts printing the exact same error message over and over. After killing that, run EasyTutuDegreenifier.exe that is in the same directory and it will install fine.

Some characters invisible until approached
by Ben Slackin on Monday October 5th 2009, 19:07
I've noticed that some characters are invisible until my party approaches them and gets pretty close. Then they pop into existence. It's strange and frustrating. Anyone have any ideas on this? Thanks.

User Journal and Map marker problem
by Ben Slackin on Monday October 5th 2009, 12:44
I'm playing Baldur's Gate I with EasyTutu, and I'm having a problem with both the user journal and map markers. I enter text and click "Done", but the text is never saved. Journal entries just don't show up. I can set map markers, but can't label them with any text.

Any ideas?
