Successfully programmed microcontrollers of the type 16F84a and 16F627 using the K8048 KIT software and hardware. Software was executed in terminal window as root.
What does not
Executing the application under a user-name. App. not able to directly access hardware RS232 registers due to execution restrictions.
What was not tested
The programming of microcontrollers for the full hardware range offered, with the exception of the PIC 16F84a and PIC 16F627
