What works
SetUp.EXE works if at least one TrueType font initially installed in windows\Fonts directory. WIRES hardware/software requires access to Sound interface, Serial port, and Internet (LAN etc). Application can start if PulseAudio disabled/removed, ALSA enabled in winecfg, serial port com1 configured in dosdevices directory.
What does not
WIRES application freezes at what might be an initial splash screen.
What was not tested
Application didn't get to display initial screen.
Additional Comments
Version 2.00 of this application would run under wine but it is an obsolete version that is not compatible with the WIRES-II network and server, therefore useless.
