Ground Control is a frenetically paced RTS played out in a visually stunning 3D world. During the course of the game, players will be challenged in an intense arena of battle- effectively managing tactical squads of foot soldiers, mobile units, air craft and support units as they vie for control of a distant planet.
This game manages to crash X under winex. However the demo works if you select software rendering.

What works
Installing and executing. Was able to get into the game and the game actually runs in wine.
Intro movies work fine as well. Audio seems to work fine as well as video.
What does not
Input controls. Mouse does not read properly. Stuck mostly on edge of screen. Mouse moves way too far for the mouse movements made.
What was not tested
Actually doing a mission. While I was able to get into the game the mouse issue prevented me from completing a mission.
Additional Comments
Mouse issue is the main issue. If this is fixed the rating could probably be bumped up to plat or gold. Unfortunately w/ the mouse bug the game is ultimately unplayable.
