What works
Installation works fine. There are 3 executables: MCUpdater.exe which automatically updates the game; this works fine. MCStart.exe which is a simple menu that allows you to start the game, run the updater, or visit the company website; this works fine. Also the game's audio works just fine as far as I can tell.
What does not
The graphics. There was a regression since earlier versions of WINE. In earlier versions, the opening movie played perfectly. Now the screen is either a scrambled mess of colors or plain white with some random black lines. However the audio plays perfectly, and the mouse cursor is perfectly visible over this mess. You can also hear the audible cues when the cursor passes over the invisible clickable hotspots. The game is totally unplayable.
What was not tested
Actual game play. In earlier versions of WINE the game would start but be far to slow to play. In newer versions of WINE since roughly the 1.1.4x series it has been impossible to even get that far.
