There is a small problem - the WINE regional settings edited by the regedit command are not properly translated to the win.ini file which is read by

Sigmaplot

 so if you import data  with a comma (,) as a delimiter but your system defaults are put for the dot (.) you'll get Sigmaplot do not recognize the format.

So clear this - i tried to modify the registry multiple times but that didn't help.

So i went into /windows folder and edited the same parameter  sDecimal in the win.ini file
