When you want to use the clone tool, you'll find the following useful:
ALT-Click is intercepted by most window managers and used as the "move window", so you have to either use shift-alt-click instead, or configure your window manager to use something else for "move window". For instance, on Ubuntu, do System / Windows / Movement Key, and pick "Super" instead of "Alt". See also the codeweavers FAQ.
ALT-Click keybinding and Compiz
Thanks to earther for the following email:
I was having problems with the Photoshop 7 ALT-Click keybinding in a new Debian install running Compiz. I did the standard window manager tweak but it still didn't work properly. Then I discovered an ALT-Click keybinding in the Compiz Window Management > Move Window > Initiate Window Move settings. I changed it to 'super' like in Gnome window management and voila, it seemed to get it working again in Photoshop. You might want to add that bit of info to the clone tool info on the Photoshop 7 page.

I have a problem with the new version of mint debian.
After I start photoshop it come a message that reads like this "Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disk is full" Very strange!!
I started by coping the whole wine directory .wine to my home dir after installation of mint debian. Did give me the same message.
I re-install wine, and also photoshop. Did the same.
The funny thing is that ImageReady works... I do not know what to do next. Anybody has an idea how to fix this? I use photoshop daily and I fill very lost.
PhotoShop 7.0 cannot initialize because "scratch disks are full"

Adobe Photoshop 7.0 (relative insists on using old 7.0) installs fine. It comes with 2 programs, PhotoShop and ImageReady. IR seems to work fine. When starting PhotoShop, it throws an error "Could not initialize Photoshop because the scratch disks are full."
I hold down control and alt when starting and set 1st scratch disk to C:\, then 2nd to Z:\. Doesn't work. I create Y:\ to point to /tmp and throw that in there too (in all permutable orders). I tried holding down shift too and deleted settings. None of this works. (Computer has over 1.5tb free and 4gb memory.)
