It work on servers with no-gg. If server have Gameguard protection on u will be kicked in 10-30 seconds without any screen with error.
6- Setup Wine, run winecfg and set compability mode to Windows XP.
7- Open /etc/hosts as root. Enter this:
SERVERIPL2authd.lineage2.com
8- Run Game.
Additional note: System patch was made by me with use of the Fyyre's patches, to
support Linux players on RaidFight Private Server.
Please just remember that Server has to be configured to not kick you
when you don't reply gameguard check. Ask your server Admin for that
feature.
WARNING
Its not tested on Official servers. It may
work, it may not. You always risk to get your account banned (of
Official). Client modding is against Lineage II EULA.

can we emulate, to send it that we're not using Virtual Machine?

a new security app "shieldConsole.exe", added by Official licenser in Russia "Innova", doesn't want to run on WINE (1.1.8). It says "Sorry, this application cannot run under Virtual Machine".
By the way, if you'll try to run game from "system/l2.exe", you'll couldn't get connected to any of GameServers, because shieldConsole don't started.
Can something be found, to send to this application, that we don't use Virtual Machine, so it thinks, that we're running native Windows on real PC?

Hello I Am Using Wine version 1.0.1... and ubuntu 8.10
I installed Lineage 2 and Downloaded the System From this site ... and i am runnig l2.exe it Warns me about the AGP That is Deactivated.... and then it goes to open the lineage2 window But it Show me a Critical Error Saying : General Protection Error .. and some other
Someone maybe know What can Be The Problem With this ... ??? Plz Tell Answer
Mouse Problem!

First of all, thanks for the post! :D
I write this to explain a problem tath i have. In fact, the Lineage 2 works well, all well; i can login, chose char and play.
The only problem, and i don't know why is this happening, is tath the mouse is always warpped at the center of the screen, making the game unplayable...
Someone have this problem too ? or.. Someone can help me with this ?
