Additional Comments

I was able to get videos to play by first setting amstream as native, then installing winetricks and using winetricks to install directx9. I first installed d3dx9 but it didn't work so I'm not sure if that is needed or not, but after the directx9 install, videos play perfectly.

idirectdrawstream::getformat failed
by Hatta on Saturday September 20th 2008, 13:00
The above fix doesn't work for me. I added the key to the registry, and added an override for amstream.dll. I just get the error message: "idirectdrawstream::getformat failed".

What else do I need to get the videos to work? This is with Wine 1.1.5.
