Forgot to mention in previous test results that in addition to Ian Patterson's patch, I had to use the C-Daodan patches from http://wiki.oni2.net/Daodan_DLL
Just copy both bink* files into C:\Program Files\Oni, overwriting the existing binkw32.dll.
But for the 'closing the Diary/help menu bug', which is irritating in a fight, I would give this platinum.
