Description
A fantastic turn based multi/single player game. Almost a 3D worms variant, with loads of good humour and great gameplay. Sometimes the 'run' screen works under wine, but the game won't.
Old test results
The test results for this version are very old, and as such they may not represent the current state of Wine. Please consider submitting a new test report.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)

What works
Installer, menus, single-player, multi-player.

What does not
The landscape is not rendered perfectly which makes the game pretty hard to play. The textures are flipping from visible to invisible. Other than that no problems were detected.

What was not tested
Network play.

No blinking textures
by Mex on Tuesday May 8th 2012, 12:14
I finally managed to make this game work. I changed the color depth to 16-bit, the display mode was set to 800x600x16bpp and the detail level to medium. I also tried high detail level but after some time the game crashes with the following error: Unhandled exception (thread 0009), starting debugger. With medium details the game works as good as on Windows.

Laggy menus
by Phlum on Saturday May 21st 2011, 3:31
...actually, there's not much left to explain. The menus seem to run at less than one frame per second, which is odd, since when they have only one 'element' visible, they go much faster. Also, I had to exit the game which triggered a pig to run towards the screen as it closed; the pig didn't have a texture (he was just all white).

I couldn't test anything else as I'm not patient enough to wrestle my way through the menusystem ^^;

This was played on a 16-bit display, same machine but with a 24-bit display gives the errors seen over the previous years.

When in 16-bit mode, the mission statement screens are blank, and weapons the wrong colour.
When in 24-bit mode, all colours etc are good, but textures are missing on the land, making gameplay impossible.

Further playing resulted in a crash, not tried to repeat mistake, may be wine related - may not.
