The test results you have selected are very old and may not represent the current state of Wine.
Selected Test Results (selected in 'Test Results' table below)
What works
After reverting wine to 1.1.17 and installing Winetricks everything worked flawlessly save the begging where you are asked to submit a license key or use the trial. The check box to use the trial is missing but easily found by clicking the area where it should be. Installed perfectly. Upgraded wine after installation to current Ubuntu package.
What does not
Everything runs smoothly except for 'Site Management" panel located on
the bottom right of the default Dreamweaver setup. The use of this area
is compromised. Drag and drop into 'Local Files' gives a prompt: "Access
to Z:\home\(username)\Documents\(folder/file) was denied". Prompt was
also given when drag/drop was performed from within
~/.wine/c_drive/...etc. Browsing or listing from this panel is also
impossible.
What was not tested
Dreamweaver extras.
Additional Comments
The "Site Management" panel is in my opinion a vital part to seamless and efficient design with Dreamweaver.
Multiple apps need separate msi custom action server process due to COM/MTA and/or isolation issues (Adobe CS3/CS4, Flash, Windows SDK 2008, Strawberry Perl)

In Dreamweaver I cannot navigate site management and drag and drop into site management returns an access denied prompt... any one else have this happen to them?
Ubuntu Lucid 64 Bits + Dreamweaver CS4.
by El Modern on Wednesday May 19th 2010, 7:29
Finally, after a day of searching, trying to compile and patch, use the copy method, and other crazy solutions I managed to run the instaler properly on my lucid 64bit box!
1.- Installed with 1.1.17
2.- Installed the following with winetricks: msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005 ie6 corefonts fontsmooth-rgb
3.a- Copied from a Vbox xp instalation odbc32.dll and odbcint.dll, and overrided it in the libraries config.
3.b- That config Should be like this after doing 1,2 and 3.a
ODBC32.dll
by quim kaos on Tuesday November 10th 2009, 7:55
tho i have it active in wine configuration, i'm stil getting this error:

Crash on second user account
by David Woodmansee on Sunday October 25th 2009, 21:56
Dreamweaver is working great on my main user account, but whenever I try to run it on a second account I get a page fault during the startup splash screen. The second account is for when I VNC in from my laptop, but for now I'm just trying to get it to work locally.
I'm using ubuntu 9.04. I'm currently on wine 1.1.32 but I tried running it on 1.1.17 with the same result. I actually had it working a couple months ago but I ended up wiping the whole system and reinstalling everything, and now I can't figure out what could be different that's keeping it from working.
Anyone had a similar experience or know of anything I could try?
Downgrading allows normal install on Karmic
by Rickus on Wednesday September 30th 2009, 21:32
Made a clean install from scratch following this guide and installed Master Collection CS4. Yes, again, installed it with Setup.exe in wine. I did not move the files from windows.
Still acts a bit odd, says it needs to stop working because of serious default in wine, but keeps on working so far. It is updating normally as well.
I followed this guide which just work fine. Upgraded to latest version of wine and it is still working.
Dreamweaver.exe failed to initialize
by aristo on Monday August 24th 2009, 7:42
I follow all your instructions BUT when i try to run Dreamweaver.exe it gives me an error saying that doesn't found 'odbc32.dll'.
Error message:
wine .wine/drive_c/Archivos\ de\ programa/Adobe/Adobe\ Dreamweaver\ CS4/Dreamweaver.exe
fixme:mixer:ALSA_MixerInit No master control found on USB camera, disabling mixer
err:module:attach_process_dlls "odbc32.dll" failed to initialize, aborting
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"I:\\.wine\\drive_c\\Archivos de programa\\Adobe\\Adobe Dreamweaver CS4\\Dreamweaver.exe" failed, status c0000005
thanks works great. for 64bit ubuntu users do the following:
*deinstall wine
*install wine 1.1.17
*winetricks install msxml6 gdiplus gecko vcrun2005 ie6
*start "wine setup.exe" via your terminal from within your installation directory (!!) ...don't right click setup.exe and open with wine (wouldn't work for me.
*ignore the terminal error message spam
*after successfull installation upgrade wine to 1.1.22
*enjoy
Probems with menus
by Glen on Saturday December 6th 2008, 21:29
fixme:menu:TrackPopupMenuEx not fully implemented seems to be the related error. My menus unfold then stay open. If I go to another menu or even another program the menu stays open and obstructs my view. This is for Dreamweaver. Photoshop starts then fails in an "unexpected" way. Anyway, I don't consider this production worthy yet and am pretty burned out on messing with it right now. I've got a good 16 hours into getting
cs4 to work with only some progress.
installation works
by Glen on Friday December 5th 2008, 23:05
I'm running the installation for the second time. Install completed last time, but she wouldn't run. Hoping with your insights to get it this time. Install completes using WINEPREFIX=path/to/ies4linux/ie6/install.
How I got it to work
by mikk tendermann on Monday November 10th 2008, 2:52
I installed master collection in vmware
copy %windir%/WinSxS to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/
copy %windir%/system32/Macromed to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/system32
copy %appdata%/Adobe to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/All Users/Application Data/
copy %appdata%/FLEXnet to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/All Users/Application Data/
copy %appdata%/Macromedia to ~/.wine/drive_c/windows/profiles/All Users/Application Data/
copy c:/Program Files/Adobe to ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/
copy c:/Program Files/Common Files/Adobe to ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/
copy c:/Program Files/Common Files/Macrovision Shared to ~/.wine/drive_c/Program Files/Common Files/
From windows registry backup HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\FLEXnet Licensing Service and restore both to wine registry
