What works
Login, Messages but invisible text, Settings, Menus Work
I was able to make the Menus work by removing all the skins in YM's directory except the "Default" skin.
After retaining the Default settings i examine the files, I edit the xml files of every folder and i make the menus work.
I think the problem here is the skinning of YM, once i edit the xml some interfaces function properly. I am lack of xml knowledge... to all xml coders out there can you edit the YM's "Default" skin to make it functionable.

I cant send any messages because of invisible interface.

Yahoo IM v9.0 Error

I am using Kanotix 2007 Thorhammer RC7 & wine v1.1.12
I got the program to install and when it opens, I get the buddy box plus a box telling me such and such would like to add me to their list of buddies AND telling me that I have # of messages in my inbox...giving me the option of reading my messages [ok] [cancel] (for a total of 3 boxes - Yahoo! IM, messages, and someone wants to add me). The program seems to hang then, after a short wait, I get an error box telling me "the program has encountered a serious problem and needs to close".
