What works
Installation, application starts, login, avatar / personal information editing, status changing, skin/appearance changing.
What does not
Chatting and anything related to it (webcam, etc.) Trying to open a chat window results in a crash. Trying to add contact(s) also results in a crash. Basically the application is unusable in any meaningful way.
There are also some graphical glitches in the skinned GUI, but way less with Wine 1.1.42 than previous Wine versions.

Yahoo IM v9.0 Error

I am using Kanotix 2007 Thorhammer RC7 & wine v1.1.12
I got the program to install and when it opens, I get the buddy box plus a box telling me such and such would like to add me to their list of buddies AND telling me that I have # of messages in my inbox...giving me the option of reading my messages [ok] [cancel] (for a total of 3 boxes - Yahoo! IM, messages, and someone wants to add me). The program seems to hang then, after a short wait, I get an error box telling me "the program has encountered a serious problem and needs to close".
