EDIT:

I tried another version (older) from teamviewer 4, that i had on my usb stick, and to my surprise this one worked. (version 4.0.5503)
so for now my problem is solved, however, it still means that current build on the teamviewer does not work in ubuntu 9.04 wine. at least not for me.

edit: same with wine 1.1.23 fron the wine apt database.
exact same error. lets hope help comes soon, as i need this app.

Protocol negotiation failed

When attempting to connect I get the error mentioned as subject and Google doesn't return anything about such error.
