On emulation mode, sound works better but permanently cuts out shortly after each game starts. On hardware, many sounds don't play, and those that do are often truncated severely at the end.

In order for the game to proceed on launch, press 'Esc' on the keyboard.
What appears to happen is that the intro cinematics are playing, but the screen is black and there is no sound.
The sound issues are similar to many other sound issues starting with 1.3.2X.
Similar results have been noticed in a dozen applications. This is a regression from 1.2.
