Additional Comments
I've got a weird crash when loading a map first with shaders set to ultra high, however I could set shaders to medium, start a map (mission or skirmish battle), exit the map, set shaders back to ultra high and then restart the map, it worked. This might be related to my system and a SELinux denial, it blocked access to some direct3d libs. I give it Platinum now since ALL graphic effects can be used in highest setting without any glitches.
Test System: AMD Phenom 9550 x4 2,2Ghz, 8GB DDR2, Geforce 9800GTX+ 1024MB, Fedora 11 x86_64, Kernel 2.6.29.5-191.fc11.x86_64 x86_64.
Yuriko Campaign no longer crash
by Milena on Tuesday June 23rd 2009, 3:52
The Yuriko Campaign crashed the game at the beginning in 1.1.22 on Fedora 10 for me. However it does not crash anymore in 1.1.23 on Fedora 11. I could play the whole Yuriko Campaign from beginning to the end without crash or any glitch. Could be new the Nvidia Driver 185.18.14, wine version .23 or even the new kernel in F11, not sure about that.
Bypass Installation
by Johaahn on Monday April 6th 2009, 16:01
I've been able to play when bypassing install (with MS Win).
I've installed it on Windows, then copied installed Folder into wine drive_c (same path).
I've also imported registry, everything located into:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Electronic Arts\Electronic Arts\Red Alert 3 Uprising
to prevent error message at start.
